General History
This CCR was built in early 2005 and delivered to Norway. The car stayed pretty much the same although it underwent some cosmetic changes as it had different wheels fitted over the years and a rear wing was added as well. In 2010 it was extensively upgraded with a new engine management and traction control system, CCX derived diffusor, side splitters, rear bonnet air vents, carbon front splitter, forged and polished nine spoke wheels and a Top Gear rear wing. This Evo Package upgrade was carried out through the "Certified Legends" program by Koenigsegg, focusing on restoring and upgrading previous models. After being sold in 2012 the new owner extensively drove his car, racking up over 15.000 km in just five years.
Unfortunately it suffered an accident in Poland in 2013, injuring several bystanders. The repairs included a lot of upgrades, including a repaint to silver. Many areas of the car were refinished in clear coated carbon, notably the side air intakes, front splitter, and the rear center section. The headlight surrounds were also finished in clear coated carbon. The CCR lettering on the side panels was changed to silver, and a twin-deck F1 wing replaced the original one. The nine-spoke wheels were painted in a diamond cut-style. The exhaust was changed to a muffler setup also found on the later CCX.
The car was sold to its third Norwegian owner in 2017 who kept the car until it was offered for sale with DK Engineering in 2020. Shortly after the car was sold - and ended up with no other than Christian von Koenigsegg himself!
Exterior Spec
Chassis 7017 was originally painted yellow but briefly sported a white and black wrap. It was initially fitted with the standard CCR wheels, which were replaced later by Dymag nine spoke ones. After its accident the car was repainted to silver and has received numerous CCX-derived upgrades in its first and second stay at the factory.
Interior Spec
The interior of this car was configured in black alcantara, contrasted by yellow stitching and has stayed like this since.
