General History

Chassis 7058 is one of only two CCX Edition’s ever built, with both being U.S.-spec.
This specific car was finished in summer of 2008 and was first shown at the Johannesburg International Motor Show in October 2008. The car was later delivered to its Norwegian owner who kept it for a few years and later sold it to Monaco. After just one year in Monaco, the car changed hands to another Norwegian customer. The CCX was again sold in 2015 - this time to ex-Formula 1 driver Adrian Sutil, who didn’t keep the car very long and sold it to Germany, whereit spent a few years, occasionally in storage at the certified Koenigsegg dealership Esser Automotive. In early 2022 the car was sold to Denmark through Carage Lucerne, who added the Hulk-bits, but after disagreements the car was returned to its Danish owner. In summer of 2022 the car was sold to an American collector from the east coast, who finally brought the U.S.-spec car to its home turf after 14 years.

Exterior Spec

This CCX has the complete Edition package featuring clear coated carbon fiber bodywork and Edtion-exclusive rear wing.  The model call out panels on the side show merely the Koenigsegg crest, a feature of the Edition models.  This car rides on the eleven-spoke silver wheels.  As a US-spec car it carries the red rear side marker lights.
From 2015 on it had red stripes, making it very easy to distinguish, however, the wrap was removed after two years. It also temporarily had its eleven spoke wheels painted black, imitating a diamond cut look. During a very short time in Denmark the car had green stripes wrapped onto the bodywork and the Koenigsegg text on the calipers was painted green to match. The car was supposed to be nicknamed Hulk but after issues the buyer returned the car to its previous owner and the changes were reverted.

Interior Spec

Full Edition-spec interior, featuring predominantly red leather and alcantara, most notably on the seats and door inserts, and contrasting black leather and alcantara. It has red Koenigsegg Edition stitching on the passenger dashboard, the center console section is finished in aluminium with a traditional manual transmission. This car features a US-spec passenger airbag.
