General History

This car is one of only two CCX Editions ever made. It was originally built for the Norwegian client who commissioned the Edition line. It quickly made its way to the United States though, being delivered to Arizona in late 2009. In 2015 the car was offered for sale with just 21 miles on the odometer; it is unclear whether it sold at that time. The car later sold though, making its way to one of the most significant car collections of the United States. It received a bare carbon dashboard, the infotainment screen introduced with Chassis 7067 and most importantly a conversion from the manual transmission to the Xtrac paddle shift gearbox.
It appeared at Monterey Car Week 2017 and hasn’t been spotted publicly until Car Week 2024, where it appeared at multiple of the events in the area.

Exterior Spec

Like all Editions chassis 7061 has an iconic carbon fiber exterior and sits on the silver eleven spoke wheels introduced for this model. There were no changes made to the exterior until the car was seen at Car Week 2024 with its wheels painted black.

Interior Spec

Chassis 7061’s interior is finished in red leather and alcantara with some bits covered in black leather and alcantara. The car originally had a black alcantara dashboard, a radio, CD player and knobs to control the AC. This was changed when the manual gearbox was replaced by an automatic one in 2016 or 2017: The car now has a carbon dashboard and the infotainment screen introduced for the last few CCX’s.
