#7123 - RSR
VIN: YT9ML1A21FA007123
Country: United Arab Emirates
Left-Hand Drive
General History
This is the second of three Agera RSR, which were specially made for the Japanese market. These 3 cars are different from the other RS's as they feature an aero upgrade (extended roof scoop & custom rear wing) and a unique name. This car was delivered to a customer in Fukuoka, Japan where it was a part of the “Mega Supercar Motor Show” collection, later rebranded as New Gaea Motors, alongside a Pagani Huayra Roadster, a couple of Bugattis, a W Motors Fenyr Super Sport, and other cars.
It remained in Japan from 2016 through 2023. It was first offered for sale in November 2022 by New Gaea Motors with 1000km on the odometer, which we wrote about here. The car was not sold by this dealer and in 2023 came up for sale at Bingo Sports in Tokyo, the authorized Koenigsegg dealer in Japan. In June 2023, the car was sold privately (not through a dealer) by the first owner to a collector in Germany, though the second owner did not take physical delivery of it. The car remained in storage in Japan for another ~5 months before it was sent by the second owner to the United Arab Emirates where it was consigned for auction with RM Sotheby’s.
The true mileage at the time of auction is 1,008km, though it was advertised as having just 993km. This vehicle’s two-owner history has been obscured through the description of having “only one owner in its first delivery destination of Japan”, given the second owner is European.
The auction of this Agera RSR in March 2024 marks a significant milestone for Koenigsegg as this is the first-ever Agera RS example to go up for auction, though a number of examples have traded hands privately.
This Agera RSR was auctioned by RM Sotheby’s on March 8th, 2024, selling for a price of US$3,380,000. Egg Registry has discovered the car is destined for Germany, the same locale as its second ownership.
Exterior Spec
The car is finished in metallic black with Deep Bourgogne No. 8 accents all over the body panels. In some lighting, these dark red accents can be quite hard to see, making the car look entirely black. It has the Agera RS front splitter with double winglets and a high mounted rear spoiler with RSR letters on the wing endplates. It has air outlets in the front hood as well as the extended roof scoop found on all three of the Agera RSR. The car rides on the 5 spoke hollow “Aircore” carbon fiber wheels. The brake calipers are finished in Metallic black. The car has carbon wing mirrors.
Interior Spec
The interior is predominantly finished in black leather, including the dash, steering wheel, roof, and back wall, but the seats are upholstered with unique Deep Bourgogne leather, which appears as a chocolate-like colour. There is a black anodized aluminium centre console.
