General History

#7158 was delivered new to Koenigsegg Chicago (Ferrari Lake Forest) in late 2019. Its first owner, the then-wealthiest person in the state of Illinois, owned the car for about a year and a half. During his ownership, the car was driven sparingly. It was seen being driven in Chicago, as well as at one of the owner’s vacation homes in rural Colorado. In July 2020, after about nine months of ownership, the owner put the car up for sale with Koenigsegg Chicago. It had 124 miles on the odometer and an asking price of $2,899,000. The car remained on market for another ten months until it sold to a new owner outside of the country.

The second owner, who took delivery in the summer of 2021, is a Vietnamese businessman based in Ho Chi Minh City. After leaving Chicago, this Regera travelled to Phnom Penh, Cambodia for registration (tax purposes) and it wears the Cambodian license plate HK.KHANH. After registration, the car was brought to Vietnam where it has resided ever since.

The second owner has used the car much more than the first owner, with it being taken to various events across Vietnam, including a car show in Da Nang in the spring of 2022.

In November 2023, the car was spotted at a Koenigsegg facility in Ängelholm, likely undergoing service. The owner visited his car at the factory in February 2024, after which the car was flown to Thailand and has been in storage there ever since.

Exterior Spec

This car is finished in Burgundy Red-tinted carbon fibre. The car has a tapered centre carbon fibre section, bordered by thin and tapered Moon Silver stripes that run the length of the car. This Moon Silver striping continues on each side of the car. The car has red-tinted carbon wing mirrors to match the body colour. Finally, it has Tresex AirCore carbon wheels and black brake calipers.

Interior Spec

The interior of this car is finished in Roe Deer Leather, a very classy tan colour. This leather adorns the seats, roof, back wall, dash, and steering wheel. On the seats, there is Desiato Stitching in the Drift Pattern. The centre console has aluminium trim.
