General History

7188 was delivered in May 2020 to Koenigsegg Newport Beach in California, USA. It spent a short time in a collection with two other Koenigseggs but was promptly put up for sale. The car is alleged to have been sold within a few months to an unknown collector in the Los Angeles area. However, this second ownership did not last long and eventually the car ended up back for sale at Koenigsegg Newport Beach. In December 2020, the car was sold and went to Columbus, Ohio where it joined the well-known Triple F Collection. The car was driven frequently by the owners in Ohio, attending various car shows, charity events, and featuring frequently in various YouTube videos. Notably, it was reviewed by car reviewer Doug DeMuro in 2021. It is believed the last time this car was physically present in Ohio was June 2022, at some point after which the Triple F Collection sold the car. Though the car had been in Newport Beach for a number of months, the announcement of the sale was not made until October 2022 when, in a YouTube video published to the Triple F Collection YouTube channel, the owner announced that they had sold the car back to Koenigsegg Newport Beach who had in turn found a buyer for the car. On November 12, 2022, this car made an appearance at a Cars and Coffee event in Menlo Park, California, near San Francisco, sporting dealer plates. It is unclear its reason for being in Northern California, but it could have been for the purposes of showing the vehicle to potential buyers. The car then returned to Newport Beach. In December 2022, the car was listed for sale at Koenigsegg Newport Beach. As of March 2023, the car has not found a buyer and is listed with 3169 miles and an asking price of $3,499,900.

Exterior Spec

The exterior of this Regera is Crystal White with two tapered exposed carbon fiber stripes starting on the front hood and running the length of the car. The car has thin bronze striping accompanying these carbon stripes and down the side of the car. However, since September 2020, these bronze accents have been wrapped silver. This car was optioned with the Ghost Package, hence the carbon aerodynamic fins on the front, sides, and rear of the car (near the wing). The car sports the Tresex AirCore Carbon wheels and has black brake calipers.

Interior Spec

The interior is Desiato Leather and Desiato Alcantara. The seats have Snow Stitching. The leather covers the outsides of the seats, the steering wheel, and the insides of the doors. Alcantara is found on the passenger dash and the inner portion of the seats.
