General History

#7209 was delivered to Switzerland in November 2018 to the Carage Private Collection. It was displayed at the Geneva International Motor Show in March 2019, formally unveiling Koenigsegg Naked Carbon (KNC) to the world. It has participated in many events across Europe, including Supercar Owner’s Circle (2019 and 2020), Mille Miglia (2021), and the Ghost Squadron Owner’s Tour (France 2021). It splits its time between Lucerne, Switzerland and Marbella, Spain. It is currently for sale at Carage with 200km on the odometer and an asking price of €8,500,000.

Exterior Spec

This Regera, known informally as “Regera KNC” has, as the name might suggest, a Koenigsegg Naked Carbon body. KNC is a very special version of Koenigsegg’s traditional carbon fibre that requires meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. At the outset, KNC follows the same method of creation as normal carbon fibre with epoxy and plenty of resin in an autoclave. Then, unlike standard carbon, KNC is hand-sanded down to the weave. This process has a very fine margin for error, and, if any mistakes are made, the entire body panel of carbon will have to be remade. KNC is not coated with a clear coat lacquer, which, while saving about 20kg of weight, means any imperfections in the weave or sanding process would be easily visible. Hence, no mistakes are allowed. Given the immense time and effort that goes into this process, KNC is the most expensive visual option that Koenigsegg offers: upwards of an eye-watering $250,000 on the Regera. This Regera has an entirely KNC body, down to the smallest details. The car is also optioned with the Tresex AirCore Carbon wheels, Carbon wing mirrors, and has black brake calipers.

Interior Spec

The interior of this Regera is Anthracite Leather and Alcantara, the only Regera to feature this colour of interior material. Leather adorns the upper portion and outsides of the seats, as well as the steering wheel. Alcantara is found on the inner part of the seats.
