General History
#7500 was delivered in May 2021 to Koenigsegg Newport Beach to a prominent Koenigsegg collector in Orange County, California. It was unveiled through a live-streamed event featuring Christian von Koenigsegg and other special guests. It was displayed at Monterey Car Week 2021 by Koenigsegg. From X to X 2021, it was on display at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. When this car was delivered, it was chassis #7229 but the VIN was changed and the chassis is now #7500.
Name
Chassis #7500 is Regera “Honey”. It was launched as the only hypercar in the world to have its own NFT (non-fungible token). There was a special song named Honey made especially for the car by Sebastian von Koenigsegg, Christian’s eldest son. People that scan the Honey badge with a special app on their phones can view a video of Christian von Koenigsegg going over the vehicle and explaining its special details as well as listen to the Honey song.
Exterior Spec
This Regera is specced in Exposed Carbon Fibre. It has Monterey Blue Stripes running its length as well as surrounding the front air intakes. There are crushed diamonds mixed into the clear coat on the carbon fibre. This car was optioned with the Tresex AirCore Carbon wheels and has Monterey Blue brake calipers. The car is optioned with the Ghost Package, giving it additional aerodynamic fins on the front, sides, and rear. The wing mirrors are carbon. There is blue “Honey” badging on the side.
Interior Spec
The interior of this Regera is Desiato Leather with Blueberry Stitching.
